And now we have a fancy new award to prove it.
The 2020 Experience Design & Technology Awards recognize “the best use of design and technology in experiential marketing.” Since using design and technology to create memorable brand experiences is what EWI is known for, we were thrilled to learn that our work with Kia recently won us a coveted bronze medal — this time in the “Best Combination of Event Technologies (B-TO-C)” category.
The simulators allow users to experience the performance and capability offered by the Stinger and Telluride. Customers can take the Stinger for a spin around the Nürburgring — a famous track in Germany where sports cars prove their mettle — or experience the Telluride’s off-road capabilities when a sudden rockslide forces the car to veer off-road. In both cases, the simulators use vehicle-specific steering wheels, an immersive three-screen display, powerful audio and rumble packs, and lifelike in-car motion simulation to create a realistic handling experience.
This award feels like a great bookend to 2020, and we’re excited to have (another) reason to celebrate this holiday season. And, just like our simulators, 2021 looks like it’s going to be a fun ride too. Full speed ahead!
