An automaker’s major anniversary press event offered a seamless celebration and experience of the brand (complete with birthday cupcakes)?
To celebrate its 50th birthday, Subaru of America released nine limited-edition vehicles. Painted in Heritage Blue and decked out with a high trim level, the cars reflected the prestige of this brand moment. Subaru called on EWI to produce a media event that was equally bespoke.
The event was possibly the largest-ever reveal at the Chicago Auto Show, culminating in a simultaneous silk reveal of all nine vehicles We coached the speakers and oversaw the creation of graphic visual projections that were perfectly timed to the cadence of each speech. From the lighting, voice of God recordings, and music selections to the creative touches we fabricated for the set, EWI created a cohesive and thrilling event—all the way down to the custom-made, branded birthday cupcakes, which helped earn the event a nod from the Chicago Tribune as one of the “highs” of the 2018 show.
