What if . . .
We could build an engaging visitor experience to auto show goers of all ages in an auto show display?
At the 2016 North American International Auto Show, EWI premiered an entirely new display for the Ford Motor Company client.
The array of all-new products were on display in the booth encircled by an aluminum oval, with a 360-degree video display consisting of more than 114 million LEDs that played vibrant high-definition video and spotlight visitors’ social media posts that use #FordNAIAS. The redesigned stand immersed visitors in Ford innovations that make life better – everything from new customer experiences to driver-assist technologies and advanced lightweight materials.
Sensors were built into a 72x19-foot curved LED video wall that seamlessly split to open and close. Rather than riding on rails, the walls moved using the same laser-guided, magnetically driven technology that moves the F-150 parts through the Dearborn Truck Plant.
Vehicles were showcased on a 78-foot-diameter flush mounted revolving turntable in the center of the stand, with three lo-profile synchronized turntables on it.
Two seamless cement-mounted escalators led you up to an all-new 12,915 sq. ft. upper-level platform hosted a plethora of Ford Performance products. The upper deck also provided a lounge area for visitors to relax and get a drink, while also providing panoramic views of the Ford stand. Downstairs, a large “shopping area” lets consumers browse a variety of Ford Motor Company vehicles with accessories, personalization enhancements, and merchandise.
"We want the Ford visitor experience at the North American International Auto Show to be just as innovative as our products and technologies. The new Ford display brings our biggest news to life, and the interactive elements enable families to become part of the action."
