Benedict Meissner
Managing Director, EMEA Headquarters
As a managing director for our EMEA Headquarters, Benedict heads our office in Hamburg, Germany and supervises the strategy and execution of the live communication programs in the region. He also leads the company’s continued expansion by cultivating relationships with brands and managing a network of partners and suppliers.
Benedict graduated from Ravensburg University, Germany, with a degree in Business Studies with a focus on exhibition, congress and event management. A 10-year industry veteran and a native of Hamburg, Benedict enjoys creating and executing challenging global programs where stakeholders speak several languages and operate in different time zones.
He has spent six months in Japan supervising the construction of the Polish Pavilion and the Lithuanian Pavilion at EXPO2005 in Aichi. After joining EWI Worldwide, he once again moved abroad, this time for a 10-month stay in Shanghai, China where he was in charge of installation of several pavilions and other exhibits at the World Expo in Shanghai. EWI’s work on the German pavilion was honored with the red dot award recognizing excellence in design and Best Pavilion award from EXHIBITOR Group. The World Wildlife Fund received Best Exhibit from EXHIBITOR Group, recognizing the company’s success in managing complex projects on a global scale.
